Hi! Thanks for stopping by. A little bit about me…
I am very passionate about technology and engaging with it at different levels.
I love the “day to day” work of defining, building, and taking to market new software products, which I am lucky to do as a product manager at Improbable in London. (We are building a cloud platform called SpatialOS to power the next generation of online games.)
I equally love learning about and discussing “the future” and the frontier technologies (e.g AI, gene editing, reusable rockets) which will have a profound impact on the future of our species. The Singularity is Near convinced me to join the technology sector, and Homo Deus convinced me that we are living in a particularly pivotal time and we all have a moral obligation to think about the ethical application of these technologies!
Other than technology I really value: running, tennis, football, kitesurfing, the Sam Harris & Tyler Cowen podcasts, anything by Norm MacDonald and Larry David, cheese & chutney.
I live in London, which I have called home for almost 20 years. My family is from France.
I use this site to
- Talk a bit about me and what interests me.
- Write evolving lists - lists of recommendations, learnings, things I find personally useful to keep track of - all in the hope that they are helpful to others and can spark a conversation.
- Have a place where I can host content on my own terms1.
Stay up to date
When there is significant new content, which will likely be very rarely, I’ll send out a short email outlining it to this mailing list:
Hope you learn something interesting on here - don’t hesitate to leave a comment with your thoughts or suggestions. Also don’t hesitate to get in touch.
